This eight day trip showcases the best of Iceland in the summer combined with unique activities and stunning sights. Get to know the capital of Iceland, drive through lava fields on a atv, go on an exciting boat trip sailing among huge icebergs and soak in geothermal waters are just among few activities that are going to make your visit to Iceland unforgettable and filled with memories that will last forever.
Everyone that have heard about Iceland know the Blue lagoon! But not everyone know about the new Retreat spa that just opened in 2018, it’s a part of the Luxurious and first five start hotel in Iceland Retreat hotel that was built into the lava landscape.
If you are planning to go to the blue lagoon but you’re not a person that likes to be in big crowds then this is the way to go! This is more private, with your own locker room and more luxury experience with options of in-water treatments. The Retreat Spa only allows limited number of people in at each time in order for the experience to stay unique and relaxing for everyone visiting this wonder of the world. There is a restaurant in the Spa if you want to have a light meal and you can stay up to four hours in the Spa.
Take a one hour Zodiac Boat Tour in the amazing Glacier Lagoon, covering large areas of the lagoon and get closer to the icebergs. When possible the Zodiac goes almost all the way up to the glacier (as close as safe). Passengers are provided with flotation suits, a life jacket and passengers must be 10 years old or older or at least 130 cm tall to go on the Zodiac tour.
Day 1 - Arrival via City Tour
When you arrive in Iceland at Keflavik Airport, your private driver will greet you at the arrival hall and take you to Reykjavik where you can have breakfast before your private guide will take you up to Hallgrimskirkja church tower where you will have a nice panoramic view over the city, Solfar sun voyager, Harpan concert hall, The Old Harbour and Bessastaðir the home of the president and show you around Reykjavik most popular highlights
Day 2 - The Golden Circle
On this day you will be taken to the Golden Circle, which is one of Iceland’s most popular tours. This tour will take you to the Þingvellir National Park, where you can learn about the world’s first parliament. You will then see Iceland’s most beautiful waterfall Gullfoss( Golden Falls), followed by the Geysir geothermal field.
Day 3 - The Magical Snæfellsnes Peninsula
On this day your guide will pick you up at your hotel and take you on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula tour.The Snæfellsnes glacier is a volcano and is believed to be one of the seven chakras(energy centres) in the world. Others stop at beautiful cliff formations at Arnarstapi and Hellnar. In the evening you will stay at Hotel Budir located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula.
Day 4 - Discover Reykjavik
Start heading back towards Reykjavik where you will spend the whole afternoon relaxing and discovering Reykjavik. Your hotel is located downtown near all the main shops and attractions. Therefore, it is very easy to wander around and explore at your own pace.
Day 5 - The Glacier Lagoon & Diamond Beach
On this day you will be taken to the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon where you will enjoy everything the lagoon has to offer. Go on an exciting boat trip, sailing among the huge icebergs in the picturesque scenery of Jökulsárlón. On the boat you get to taste the 1000 year old ice and if you are lucky you might even see seals. In the evening you will stay at the amazing Fosshotel Glacier Lagoon.
Day 6 - The South Shore & Glacier Walk
On this day you will get right into the action and head straight for the beautiful Icelandic south shore. A guide will take you on the ice for a hiking tour on Sólheimajökull glacier.
You will be taken to see both the Seljalandsfoss waterfall and Skógafoss waterfall, as well as Reynisdrangar Cliffs. After all this our guide will take you to your hotel in South Iceland for the night.
Day 7 - Reykjanes Peninsula, Atv & The Blue Lagoon
In the morning start heading to the amazing Reykjanes Peninsula. Take a look at Gunnuhver hot spring, Reykjanesviti and the bridge between two continents. Afterwards you will head to Grindavík for a 1 hour atv tour through the lava fields of Reykjanes.
After all this head to the Blue Lagoon for a fine lunch at LAVA restaurant before soaking in geothermal waters and one of the wonders of the world. There you will have access to the exclusive lounge and 30 minute in-water massage, relax and float in the soothing warm geothermal waters.
After enjoying everything that the Blue Lagoon has to offer your private driver will take to your hotel in Reykjavik for the night.
Day 8 - Departure
On the last day you will be picked up by a private driver and driven to the airport in time for your flight.

WOW! It’s impossible to find the words to express how thankful we are for our experience with Deluxe Iceland and our time the owner, Sigurður Magnússon. Our trip was flawless from the moment we were picked up until the very last minute as our adventure came to an end. The only direction I gave them were the dates, areas we wanted to explore and we were up for anything. I’m so happy I left it all up to them. They did not disappoint! Our entire stay was seamless, every excursion, every private guide, every meal and accommodation worked out perfectly. We were never waiting or confronted with any obstacle. Every detail was perfectly executed. Sig went the extra step to take group pictures, help us with our gear before and after excursions, handled our luggage as we traveled to different hotels along the coast, you name it, he was always there to ensure we had no worries or stress along the way. Deluxe Iceland also has beautiful vehicles that are immaculate and fully equipped with, WiFi, changing cords, water bottles and GPS monitors that track where you have been and to show where you will be going. If you want to have a first class, five star Iceland experience look no further then Deluxe Iceland. We just came back from a 6 day/5 night visit to the southern part of Iceland and it exceeded all of our expectations. Working with Sig, the company owner, over email, this trip came together very easily. I had certain things that I wanted to see and Sig filled in the rest. We went directly from the airport to the Blue Lagoon, and had a first class spa experience there that I didn’t even know was available (Thanks, Sig!). We stayed at Hotel Ranga for 3 nights, a great base for our day trips. Great place, delicious food. We had a super Jeep experience into the wilderness with Lulle, who entertained us all day with great Icelandic stories. Andri took us out for Northern Lights hunting. All of the guides were great! Knowledgeable, fun to talk to, always on time and eager to please. I can’t say enough about how great this tour company is. I wanted to visit the Saga Centre (museum) which is closed in the winter, and Sig got them to open just for me.
