My husband and I chose to celebrate our "retirement" by touring Iceland. We corresponded with Deluxe Iceland's owner, Sig, and from the initial email to the final farewell at the airport we were extremely impressed!! Sig and Fannar, consecutively, were our personal tour guides throughout our trip and both were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. They listened to our wants and planned our trip accordingly. At the same time, they were more than willing to veer from the planned schedule if we spotted a "sight" along the route. Sig's mantra was "no stress" which made us feel relaxed and cared for!! (I have since decided to adopt that mantra!!) We had many great conversations and laughs with both Sig and Fannar and left Iceland feeling like we had made two new friends!! A big thank-you and cheers to Sig and Fannar for making our retirement trip a memory that we will forever treasure!! Bless, bless, Deborah and Bo Passey. (Ontario, Canada) P.S. We highly recommend Deluxe Iceland if Iceland is on your "bucket... Read more

Deluxe Iceland did an incredible job planning our family trip. We worked with Viktor for a few months ahead of time. He was informative and very patient, helping us plan the perfect trip for our family. He organized and took care of all the details in advance so we could enjoy our trip without any hassles. When we arrived in Iceland we were greeted by our unbelievable guide Andri who showed us around Iceland, taking us to the blue lagoon, the golden circle, a local farm visit, the lava center, snowmobiling, and so much more. He was so knowledgable, extremely personable and just such a nice person. He added so much to our trip and we would highly recommend requesting him if possible. Everyone at Deluxe Iceland was very helpful and accessible while we were there. Viktor and Siggi were always quick to respond if we had any last minute questions. We felt relaxed and comfortable throughout our whole trip. If you want to have THE experience that you'll remember forever, we highly recommend using Deluxe... Read more

WOW! It’s impossible to find the words to express how thankful we are for our experience with Deluxe Iceland and our time the owner, Sigurður Magnússon. Our trip was flawless from the moment we were picked up until the very last minute as our adventure came to an end. The only direction I gave them were the dates, areas we wanted to explore and we were up for anything. I’m so happy I left it all up to them. They did not disappoint! Our entire stay was seamless, every excursion, every private guide, every meal and accommodation worked out perfectly. We were never waiting or confronted with any obstacle. Every detail was perfectly executed. Sig went the extra step to take group pictures, help us with our gear before and after excursions, handled our luggage as we traveled to different hotels along the coast, you name it, he was always there to ensure we had no worries or stress along the way. Deluxe Iceland also has beautiful vehicles that are immaculate and fully equipped with, WiFi, changing cords, water bottles and GPS monitors that track where you have been and to show where you will be going. However, the best part of about our booking through Deluxe Iceland was spending time with Sig. He is a tremendous ambassador to Iceland. He is very knowledgeable about his country and conveys the information so nicely as you travel throughout the country. It’s far better than trying to travel the country without a guide. With Sig doing the driving my husband and I were... Read more
