Words cannot express how wonderful our first trip to Iceland was. We contacted Deluxe Iceland and they planned everything for us. We had a private guide who was with us for 4 of the 6 days in Iceland (he only left us when we arrived in Reykjavik). Our guide, Egill, was absolutely amazing, patient, kind, knowledgeable, professional, funny and the list goes on and on . The hotels they booked us into were wonderful, food was fabulous (this was a total surprise for us) and the activities were perfect. A lot was packed into every day, because of only having 5 -6 hours of sunlight, and that was perfect. This trip exceed our expectations. We highly recommend Deluxe Iceland, (and our guide Egill) if you want to travel to Iceland and have an experience of a lifetime!

Wow!! Where do I begin?! I'll start at the beginning - Arney, who answered a millions questions through email and who orchestrated our plans, was always so pleasurable and knowledgeable! Natalia also came in at the end with suggestions and reservations and added to our wonderful experience! The accommodations were amazing - a beautiful lodge with a sauna, hot tub, cold plunge and game room! Our hotel in town was also a perfect location for walking everywhere! But the people working with Deluxe Iceland also made this trip amazing for us! Right from the beginning our driver Unnar who would take us to our excursions throughout our trip was awesome! Our chef Binni, our bartender/server Sjonni again awesome, awesome! These guys put up with 11 crazy people with a smile. Binni created dishes that I would be very reluctant to try but everything was 5 star excellence - Michelin grade in my opinion! Sjonni crafted some amazing cocktails for our group and catered to our every want and need! Thank you Deluxe Iceland! Deluxe is what they are!!

Such a great experience from the planning stage through departure. Iceland did not disappoint and Unnar was an excellent guide. He really goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience.

Deluxe Iceland planned and executed one of the best trips we've ever taken--and we've been everywhere! Each day was packed with utterly unique and wonderful experiences--waterfalls, ice caves, snowmobiling on glaciers, ATV rides through geothermal fields, flying over volcanic eruptions, incredible food and wine tours, and more. Each and every aspect of the trip was perfectly planned and seamlessly executed. I can't think of a thing I would improve upon. Iceland is unlike anyplace I've ever been, and Deluxe did an amazing job of putting together a portfolio experiences. HIGHLY recommended.

Deluxe Iceland is 1st class, and they made this the most perfect vacation ever. Every detail was attended to. From the minute the arrangements we made with Anna, who worked to make sure we hit every spot to the driving with Unnar, we made sure everything executed flawlessly. I would give them 10 stars if the system allowed. We have traveled the world but never had a better trip than this one. We will definitely be back! I recommend anyone to book with this world-class team.

Unexpectedly had a solo trip to Iceland (my daughter got sick and couldn't go) and Deluxe Iceland made my trip absolutely amazing. Unnar was an amazing guide, he went above and beyond to make sure my trip was nothing short of spectacular. I didn't have to worry about a thing, they took care of everything and customized my trip perfectly. I'm going back in Oct with my daughter, and I can't wait to see what they plan for us. I highly recommend Deluxe Iceland; you will not be disappointed.

Deluxe Iceland took the guess work out of planning an adventurous vacation for my family with 3 children, aged 11, 11, 9. They carefully crafted an itinerary that was exciting, educational and took into consideration that we were traveling with children. The hotel suites were phenomenal with friendly staff that were willing to answer questions and make every accommodation to our requests. The activities, which included ATVs, waterfalls, snowmobiling, geothermal spa, farm visits, lava center, park hikes, geysirs, etc. were carefully mapped out to maximize our 6 day trip. Deluxe Iceland staff were available in the days leading up to our arrival and promptly answered any/all questions while we were in Iceland. I would highly recommend using them to plan your trip.

Our family of three just returned after an amazing 4 day trip to Iceland. The trip was wildly successful - despite an impending volcanic eruption and hurricane-force winds - due to the incredible staff at Deluxe Iceland (Arney with planning and Unnar as our driver/guide). The team at Deluxe Iceland was able to preemptively identify potential issues due to weather and adapt our itinerary accordingly - something we could never manage on our own without that same level of knowledge. We also avoided large tourist groups and were able to optimize sightseeing according to weather - ultimately seeing and learning so much more than we could have accomplished on our own. We highly recommend planning your Icelandic vacation with Deluxe Iceland!

Truly a spectacular visit and week in Iceland. So fortunate to encounter this company. The office staff, Olaf, was amazing! She customized our trip and included various adventures that we requested to make it extra special and memorable. Our guide, Jonas, was extremely personable, knowledgeable, friendly and had a wonderful demeanor. He showed pride and knowledge of Iceland. The trip I booked, was simply wonderful, life changing, and an experience that will rival in pace you visit. Deluxe Iceland was the best! Arney and I had been in touch for the weeks leading up to our family trip and she customized an experience that was exactly what we wanted. This was my first trip to Iceland and I was looking for some adventure and some relaxing. When I found Deluxe Iceland I knew this was the company for me. From the initial inquiry to the airport drop off the level of professionalism from everyone I meet and interacted with was top notch. My guide Unnar was simply fantastic. I was traveling solo and he made sure to get photos for me. The days were planned out perfectly and we adjusted as needed for weather. I can’t wait to start planning my next Iceland adventure with Deluxe Iceland!

My wife wanted to go to Iceland with friends and family for a special occasion due in part to the wonderful trip organized by Deluxe Iceland in 2019. I called on them again, but this trip was larger with 20 people coming in from several countries. Sig, Viktor and their excellent staff pulled it all together without a glitch. They are knowledgeable and professional with on the ground white glove service. The real asset in this outfit is the team. These people genuinely care about their country and their special guests who visit. In a few days, we visited the Spa at the Retreat, visited waterfalls, local restaurants, glacier walked, and bathed in the northern lights from the hot tubs at the Hotel Ranga. I think they will get more business from our guests, who want to return to this magical country.

We had an action packed and thoroughly enjoyable 4 days in Iceland thanks to Deluxe Iceland and our tour guide, David. Victor was fantastic in pulling together the itinerary with excellent communication. David was supremely knowledgeable, patient and thoughtful. We had a wonderful time with him on our snowy, cold and stunningly beautiful 4 days - his driving skills are seriously next level!

Deluxe Iceland organized an incredible vacation for our family. Our bespoke itinerary was tailored to us. A food tour, snowmobiling, ATVs, a lava tunnel and even the Northern Lights. Incredible!Critical to the experience are the guides and they are second-to-none. David was our main guide and he was knowledgeable and fun. During our activities, David would shoot video and pics and it was great to see our family in action. Bjartur and Paul were also wonderful, all three guides prepped us for the elements.I give Deluxe Iceland my highest recommendation!

We schedule a week visit to Iceland at the end of Sept for the week of Thanksgiving through Victor at Deluxe Iceland. They gave our family of 5 (ages 13, 15, and 18) what we all consider the best vacation we have ever had and we have Deluxe Iceland to thank! They tailored the entire trip to the type of activities our family enjoys while still managing for us to cover all of the highlights of Iceland at this time of the year. They also managed to do this within 6 weeks of visiting. Jonas was our private guide and driver the entire time. All 5 of us absolutely adored him and he added a number of things that made our trip special. He has the perfect balance of knowing how involved to be and when it is time to chill or have family time. We were able to see the Northern Lights our second night in Iceland and Jonas took the time to make sure we had all the family pictures we needed to create our Christmas card and then had hot chocolate brewing in the back of the car to our surprise. When it was too windy one day to snow mobile, he suggested we go on ATVs and it was definitely the most favorite thing for our boys. Every day was something new, wonderful and private. The restaurants were equally amazing and varied and Jonas managed to find places with the best fries- which was what was most important to my daughter. The country and people in Iceland are absolutely amazing. I want to go back in the summer and experience new things. Highlights of our trip were: ice caving, seeing the Northern lights, visiting a family for a day of life on a traditional dairy farm (which surprisingly was one of my kids favorite things), private yacht to see the whales, walking, shopping and eating around Reykjavik (definitely go to Apotek), 4 wheeling in the snow and seeing hidden waterfalls. Blue Lagoon is also a must and I would go upon arrival vs. on your way out. We arrived at 6:30am and were there by 8:15 and it was a perfect way to start after getting no sleep on the flight.

A memorable and wonderful trip through southern Iceland with Deluxe Iceland. Our guide, Jonas Karl, was the best! Viktor and Sig were so helpful in planning our itinerary and organzing everything. After looking at several tour companies, we decided to go with Deluxe and we are SO happy we did ! Their tour hits all the highlights of southern Iceland and we loved every stop. Unnar, our private guide, made our trip truly wonderful and easy ! His happy, positive and enthusiastic disposition is contagious! He handles everything, makes sure you are comfortable and happy, is always on time, and is always patient. Unnar is the best! I highly recommend Deluxe Iceland and Unnar if you want a special and carefree trip!

Deluxe Iceland helped us put together a really special and memorable first trip to Iceland. We spent four days touring the Golden Circle and south coast with our awesome guide Unnar. He was fun, gentle, and a little bit silly in just the right combination for our nine-year-old daughter. My husband and I also really enjoyed speaking with him about his experience growing up in Iceland and hearing about his own love for exploring his country. We felt very taken care of; Unnar was constantly monitoring the weather and changing the order of our itinerary when necessary to help us dodge the rain and get clear views of the amazing sites. He also added in a few extra stops that weren’t on our itinerary and turned out to be especially memorable. We spent considerably more on this trip than we normally do, but we never felt like we were paying more than we should for the level of comfort and convenience provided by Deluxe Iceland. Highly recommend them and, especially, Unnar!
