Description
This private day tour takes you the Golden Circle route, which includes one of Iceland’s most popular places and attractions. You will start with a stop at Kerid Crate Lake, (Approx. drive 1 hour). Kerid crater lake is a 3,000 year old volcanic crater lake, The lake itself is relatively shallow, between 7 and 14 metres depending on rainfall and other factors. After walking around the crater your next stop will be Gullfoss Waterfall one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls. Afterwards you will stop at Geysir Geothermal Area to see the exploding geysers and the lively Strokkur which spouts water 30 metres (100 ft) into the air every few minutes. On your way back to Reykjavik you will visit the Þingvellir National Park, where you can learn about the world’s first parliament and enjoy a light hike through the park. Pick-up & Drop-off in Reykjavík. What you need to bring: Warm clothes (first layer), Waterproof outdoor clothing (second layer), Hiking boots, Gloves, and a hat. Note: Jeans are not recommended. Once it gets wet, it takes a long time to dry, leaving you cold.
