    Optional on-ground activities:

Brúarfoss Waterfall Hike (Duration: 2-3 hours)

Stop at Brúarfoss (‘Bridge Falls’) which is a relatively small waterfall compared to many of its Icelandic counterparts, but its diminutive size does nothing to take away from its staggering beauty. Both locals and seasoned travellers regard Brúarfoss as one of the country’s hidden gems, often labelling it ‘Iceland’s Bluest Waterfall. The only way to see Brúarfoss is by Hiking. The hike is about a 7 km (4.4 milies) round trip walk and takes about 2-3 hours.

Fatbike mountain biking (Duration: 2 – 3 hours)

Take a short and fun trail ride from the lodge and get the refreshing Icelandic summer breeze…

This incredible spectacle is not to be missed! From there, you will visit Gullfoss Waterfall, one of Iceland’s most beautiful waterfalls, before heading for a nice private dinner at Fridheimar Greenhouse. After all this, your guide will take you back to your lodge for the night, where you can relax and unwind after the day.

    Dinner at Friðheimar

Tomatoes are the theme of Friðheimar cuisine and that’s not surprising, since three different varieties of tomato are cultivated in the greenhouses, where food is served among the tomato plants. A real unique food experience! Three-course meal:  Soup –  Choose between meat, fish, or fresh pasta – Dessert.
